Burn Fat, Get Healthy

Of the millions of people fighting the war against fat by dieting and other weight loss programs, my guess is that many want to look and feel better. And that's ok. But the truth is, excess body fat is dangerous. It brings an increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke and some types of cancer. And intra-abdominal fat, know as visceral fat, is linked to high cholesterol, high triglycerides, high insulin and high blood pressure. Too much body fat is a serious condition that individuals need to attack with purpose and commitment. How do you burn fat?  Physical activity is the key. Combined with tracking your daily caloric intake, you can be on your way to a healthier, more enjoyable life. Get with a friend, spouse or personal trainer to help keep you on track and stay committed to your long term goals.  And throughout the journey, you'll look and feel better.  Both inside and out.
