Giving Thanks to . . . YOU!

I want to say "Thank You" to all of you, my friends.  Many friends from many years ago and some more recent.  Your smile, your laugh, your hug, your comments, our memories, our stories, our past, present and our future. Today, I give thanks to all of you.  And since this is a blog, I encourage you to give thanks.  Today and forever.

According to world renowned researcher Dr. Barbara Fredrickson, maintaining a 3:1 positivity ratio of positive thoughts to negative emotions creates a tipping point between languishing and flourishing.

 Here is a list of 10 forms of positivity—joy, gratitude, serenity, interest, hope, pride, amusement, inspiration, awe and love.  And scientific evidence shows the healthiest of these emotions is gratitude.  So give thanks everyday.  For all that you have.  For all God has blessed you with.

So to all of my friends and family, Happy Thanksgiving!  I'm thankful that you are part of my life.
